Consultation on the petitions process

Thank you for your letter of 18 July affording me the opportunity to contribute to the review of the petitions process.

My engagement with the Committee has been limited to those rare occasions on which it has been alleged that one of the Members has failed to comply with a relevant provision. I have had no involvement relevant to any of the specific areas identified in your letter and do not feel able to offer a meaningful response to them.
